Let's continue novena in preparazione della commemorazione dei nostri “nati in Cielo”.

Praying for our loved ones, who live in the peace of the Lord, is the best way to feel them close, in communion with us.

Light a light and recite the proposed prayer (one for each day) and end with eternal rest.

Let's pray

In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

O God, come save me.
O Lord, make haste to help me.

Glory to the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit as it was in the beginning now and forever and ever.

Credo in Dio, Padre onnipotente, creatore del cielo e della terra; e in Gesù Cristo, suo unico Figlio, nostro Signore, il quale fu concepito di Spirito Santo, nacque da Maria Vergine, patì sotto Ponzio Pilato, fu crocifisso, morì e fu sepolto; discese agli inferi; il terzo giorno risuscitò da morte; salì al cielo, siede alla destra di Dio, Padre onnipotente; di là verrà a giudicare i vivi e i morti. Credo nello Spirito Santo, la santa Chiesa cattolica, la comunione dei santi, la remissione dei peccati, la risurrezione della carne, la vita eterna.

Di grande conforto per le anime del Purgatorio è il pensiero della dolorosa Passione di nostro Signore Gesù Cristo e del Mistero Eucaristico, poiché sentono di essere state redente dal suo Sacrificio e di aver ricevuto, con la Santa Comunione da vive e di continuare a ricevere, attraverso la comunione della Chiesa militante, tantissime grazie.

Altrettanto grande è il loro sconforto al pensiero di essere state così indifferenti in vita di fronte a queste due immense prove dell’amore di Gesù Cristo per ognuna di loro. O mio Signore e mio Dio Tu moristi in croce per me. Quante volte Ti donasti a me nell’Ostia consacrata e quante volte Ti ricevetti con poca o nessuna gratitudine e come cosa dovutami!

I propose, oh my great and holy God, not to offend You again. O my Savior, give me Your forgiveness and Your love. O my God, my immense gift, have mercy on me and on my brothers who suffer in the purgative Church. O Mary, Mother of God and of all men, with your powerful intercession come to the aid of our brothers in Purgatory.

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Your name, Your Kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread, forgive us our debts as we also forgive our debtors, and do not abandon us to temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Hail, O Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with you. Blessed are you among women and blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Glory to the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit as it was in the beginning now and forever and ever.

Eternal rest give them, O Lord, and may perpetual light shine upon them, may they rest in peace. Amen
