Read and listen to the school without rules

Hi everyone! How many times have we parents said "you just have to do it like this"! Sometimes it is difficult for us adults to give an explanation to everything, but to grow and learn to obey we need to understand the whys. The rules were not created to be a hindrance, even when they seem so: they were created to help us live better in community.

The fable of this evening wants us all to understand that a society without rules generates chaos, and in confusion, as we know, nothing goes right.

Read carefully

The rules chased little Peter everywhere.There had been rules in nursery; at the school maternal there were rules. At home with mom and dad there were rules and there were even rules from grandparents.
Most of these rules were still the same, okay.
Some were different: why could you eat sweets at your grandmother's and not at home with your mother?
At school a sign said:

- I'll put the games away
– I throw the waste in the bin
– I don't scream
– I don't argue
– I listen to the teacher.

However, one thing was clear: Peter didn't like rules. The adults had made them and he wanted to decide everything himself.

One day Peter thought:
“I want to go to a preschool where there are no rules.”
The fairy of wisheswas passing by at the time and satisfied him.

His friends were all with him and that was the school "gone crazy" because he had no rules to respect.

They took all the toys off the shelves and continued running, jumping, playing, without putting anything away.
They were so excited that they shouted all the time: there was no more rule!
The teachers weren't there: in that school they would have been useless because they shouldn't have been listened to!
Lunch arrived (the canteen service was active, even in the school without rules) e i bambini erano tutti contenti perché, quel giorno, il menu prevedeva un grande piatto di patatine fritte e aranciata.

After they finished eating, the children threw their plates in the air and laughed.
There were also sweets: Peter had never seen so many, not even at his grandmother's.
Since, in the school without rules there was no obligation to throw paper and food waste in the bin, at a certain point Peter slipped on a banana peel and got into a fight with his friend Tim .

Pearl, the smallest girl in the group, was about to slip on the peel too.
Peter shouted:“be careful, Pearl!”,but there was too much noise because all the children were shouting and we couldn't hear anything.

Peter had eaten too much candy and had a stomach ache.

He took them away from the school without rules, magically, he made them arrive in the school with too many rules.

In the school with too many rules there was a very long sign before entering, and there were no drawings to explain the rules to children who couldn't read.

A teacher who the children did not know arrived and began to read the rules:

You couldn't run, shout and eat candy;
you couldn't make bubbles in the glass of water;
there was no orange soda;
you couldn't eat with your hands.
You couldn't go and play in the garden.
There was no way you could get sauce on your shirt.
You couldn't sing, because it would have been like shouting.

Couldn't get up from the chair.

You couldn't leave food on your plate, even when you really didn't like it or it was too much.

The children were silent and did not dare move. Peter didn't understand anything: not even a single rule was left in his head.
He was right, the rules were bad.

The teacher, however, continued reading and there was no way to make her stop.
Tim, Peter's best friend, raised his hand.
“Teacher, what are the most important rules?”.
The teacher stopped reading.

No child had asked him a question like that.
Suddenly, the fairy of wishes returned and Peter and all his classmates found themselves in their usual kindergarten, with the sign hanging on the door of only 5 rules.
“Thank goodness,” thought Sam. He went happily to class, because now he knew what to do.

Conclusion

Better few words but said with authority. Few but good.
