Book of Daniel 7,2-14.

I, Daniel, looked in my night vision and, behold, the four winds of the heavens beat violently upon the Mediterranean Sea.
and four great beasts, different from each other, came up from the sea.
The first was similar to a lion and had eagle wings. While I was watching, her wings were taken away and she was lifted off the ground and made to stand on two feet like a man and she was given a man's heart.
Then behold, a second beast, similar to a bear, was raised on one side and had three ribs in its mouth, between its teeth, and it was told: "Come, devour much meat."
While I was looking, behold another one like a leopard, which had four bird's wings on its back; that beast had four heads and was given dominion over it.
I was still looking in the night visions and behold a fourth beast, frightening, terrible, of exceptional strength, with iron teeth; it devoured, crushed and put the remainder under its feet and trampled it: it was different from all the other previous beasts and had ten horns.
I was observing these horns, when another smaller horn appeared among them, in front of which three of the first horns were torn off: I saw that that horn had eyes similar to those of a man and a mouth that spoke haughtily.
I continued to watch, when behold, thrones were set up and an old man sat down. His robe was white as snow, and the hair on his head was white as wool; his throne was like flames of fire with the wheels like burning fire.
A river of fire descended before him, a thousand thousands served him, and ten thousand myriads assisted him. The court sat down and the books were opened.
I continued to look because of the proud words that that horn uttered, and I saw that the beast was killed and its body destroyed and thrown to burn on the fire.
The other beasts had their power taken away and were allowed to prolong their lives to a fixed period of time.
Looking again in the night visions, behold, one appears on the clouds of heaven, one like a son of man; came to the old man and was presented to him,
who gave him power, glory and kingdom; all peoples, nations and languages served him; his power is an everlasting power, which never fades, and his kingdom is such that it will never be destroyed.

Bless the Lord, seas and rivers, praise him and exalt him forever.
Bless, sea monsters and all that moves in the water, the Lord, praise him and exalt him forever.
Bless the Lord, all you birds of the air, praise him and exalt him forever.
Bless the Lord, all animals, wild and domestic, praise him and exalt him forever.

From the Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Luke 21,29-33.

At that time, Jesus told his disciples a parable: «Look at the fig tree and all the plants; when they already sprout, looking at them you understand for yourself that summer is now near.
So too, when you see these things happen, know that the kingdom of God is near.
Truly I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all this has happened.
Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away
".

God alone will not pass

Only God is immortal (see 1 Tim 6:16). All the others die, kings, relatives, friends; those who respect us or whom we have obliged separate from us, either by death or by absence; we separate ourselves from them; the memory of our benefits, their esteem, their friendship, their gratitude die in them. The people we love die, or at least the beauty, innocence, youth, prudence, voice, sight, etc. The pleasures of the senses have, so to speak, only a moment of life. Only God is immortal in every sense. Being very simple, he cannot die due to the separation of the parts that compose him; being absolutely independent, he cannot fail due to the removal of foreign help which preserves him. Furthermore, he cannot leave or change; not only will he always be, but he will always be good, always faithful, always reasonable, always beautiful, liberal, lovable, powerful, wise and perfect in every way. The pleasure we enjoy in possessing it is a pleasure that never passes, is unalterable, does not depend on time or place; it never causes disgust, on the contrary, it becomes more and more fascinating the more we enjoy it.
