Prayer to Saint Lucia composed by Pope Pius X
O Holy, that you have a name from the light, to you full of trust we may turn to enter a sacred light, that it may make us holy, not to walk in the ways of sin and not to remain wrapped in the darkness of error.
We also implore, through your intercession, the maintenance of light in the eyes with an abundant grace to use them always according to the divine good pleasure, without any detriment of the soul.
May Saint Lucia, who, after venerating and thanking you, for your effective patronage, on this earth, we finally come to enjoy with You in heaven the eternal light of the divine Lamb, your sweet husband Jesus.
