Your way of loving
It's letting me love you.
The yes with which you abandon yourself
it is silence. Your kisses
I'm offering my lips
because I kiss them.
Never words or hugs
they will tell me you existed
and you loved me: never.
They tell me white sheets,
maps, telephones, omens,
not you.
And I'm hugging you
without asking you anything, out of fear
that it's not true
that you live and love me.
And I'm hugging you
without looking and without touching you.
Never have to find out
with questions, with caresses,
that immense loneliness
to love you only me.
