I became minister of Church to bring to fruition the mystery hidden for centuries.

From the letter of Saint Paul apostle to the Colossians
Col 1.24-2.3

Fratelli, sono lieto nelle sofferenze che sopporto per voi e do compimento a ciò che, dei patimenti di Christ, manca nella mia carne, a favore del suo corpo che è la Chiesa.

I became a minister of it, according to the mission entrusted to me by God towards you to bring to fruition the word of God, the mystery hidden for centuries and generations, but now manifested to his saints. God wanted to make known to them the glorious riches of this mystery among the people: Christ in you, hope of glory.

In fact, it is he who we announce, admonishing everyone man and teaching each one with all wisdom, to make every man perfect in Christ. For this reason I toil and struggle, with the strength that comes from him and that acts in me with power.

In fact, I want you to know what a hard fight I have to endure for you, for those of Laodicea and for all those who have never seen me in person, so that their hearts may be consoled. And so, intimately united in love, they may be enriched with full intelligence to know the mystery of God, who is Christ: in him are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

They watched to see if he would heal on the day of Saturday.

From Gospel according to Luke
Luke 6:6-11

A Saturday Jesus entered the synagogue and began to teach. It was there a man che aveva la hand destra paralizzata. Gli scribi e i farisei lo osservavano per vedere se lo guariva in giorno di sabato, per trovare di che accusarlo.

But Jesus knew their thoughts and said to the man who had a paralyzed hand: "Get up and stand here in the middle!". He stood up and stood between them.

Then Jesus said to them: «I ask you: on the Sabbath, is it lawful to do good or to do something bad, save one life or suppress it?”. And looking at them all around, she said to the man: "Stretch out your hand!". He did it and his hand was healed.

But they, beside themselves with anger, began to argue among themselves about what they could do to Jesus.

Don't hide the truth!

Jesus: “Remember the courage col quale, in mezzo ai Miei nemici mentre complottavano persino di ucciderMi, ho proclamato di fronte a loro, a voce alta, la dottrina di verità, e quelle verità che sapevo essere per loro le più odiose e più insopportabili…

Ricordatevi con quale coraggio ho fatto davanti a loro, in mezzo a loro, miracoli, guarigioni, atti che li riempivano di rabbia e facevano loro giurare la Mia Morte… L’ho fatto per voi, per il vostro bene, per predicare ad alta voce la verità e per dare a tutti una lezione di coraggio nel compiere i doveri religiosi in particolare; per dare ai pastori delle anime una lezione di coraggio nella predicazione.

Do not hide the truth, whatever cost it may take; if you are martyrs, so much the better: you will reign with Me in the home of Father Mio…

Ma, ricordatevi dell’esempio che vi do. Io sono la luce, non ho il diritto di mettermi sotto il lucernaio: bisogna che Io illumini gli uomini, anche loro malgrado, fino a che Mio Padre faccia suonare l’ora del Mio riposo; e voi lo stesso, voi che siete pastori di anime; vi ho messi sul candelabro (…); siete obbligati a seminare il seme che Io vi ho affidato, di gridare sui tetti la dottrina che Io vi ho affidata all’orecchio.

Shout, sow, preach; do it with joy tanto più dolce perché facendolo non solo Mi obbedite, ma Mi imitate…
