From the Acts of the Apostles Acts 13:26-33
In those days, [Paul, having arrived in Antiòchia di Pisidia, said in the synagogue:] «Brothers, sons of the seed of Abraham, and how many of you are afraid of God, the word of this salvation has been sent to us.
In fact, the inhabitants of Jerusalem and their leaders did not recognize Jesus and, by condemning him, they fulfilled the voices of the Prophets which are read every Sabbath; despite not having found any reason for a death sentence, they asked Pilate that he be killed.
After fulfilling all that was written about him, they took him down from the cross and placed him in the tomb. But God he raised him from the dead, and he appeared for many days to those who had gone up with him from Galilee to Jerusalem, and these are now his witnesses before the people.
And we announce to you that the promise made to the fathers has come true, because God he did it for us, them sons, resurrecting Jesus, as it is also written in the second psalm: “My son it is you, today I have begotten you".
“I myself have established my ruler on Zion, my holy mountain." I want to announce the decree of the Lord. He told me: «You are mine son, I created you today. R.
Ask me and I will give you the nations as an inheritance and in your domain the farthest lands. You will break them with an iron scepter, you shall shatter them like a clay pot." R.
And now be wise, O kings; be corrected, judges of the earth; serve the Lord with fear and rejoice with trembling. R.

I am the way, the truth and the life, says the Lord. No one comes to Father if not through me. (Jn 14:6)
"Don't let your heart be troubled. Have faith in God and have faith in me too. In the house of Father mine there are many mansions. If not, would I have ever said to you: "I'm going to prepare a place for you"? When I have gone and prepared a place for you, I will come again and take you with me, so that where I am you may also be. And of the place where I go, you know the way".
Thomas said to him: "Lord, we do not know where you are going; how can we know the way?".
He told him Jesus: «I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to Father if not through me".

"No one comes to the Father except through me" (Jn 14:6)
[St. Catherine has heard that God he said to her:] For I told you that of my Word son only begotten I had bridged, and it's the truth, I want you to know, sons mine, that the road was cut off because of Adam's sin and disobedience, so that no one could ever attain lasting life.
Therefore men no longer gave me the glory due me in this way, because they no longer participated in the good for which I had created them. In these conditions my Truth was not complete.
My Truth is that I created man in my image and likeness so that he may possess imperishable life, so that he may share with me and taste the supreme and eternal sweetness of my Goodness. But, after sin had closed heaven and the doors of Mercy, all access was denied him. Sin produced thorns and tribulations of multiple adversities. (…)
Ever since he sinned, man has been attacked by an impetuous torrent which continually overwhelms him with its waters; he had to endure pains and torments: torments from himself, torments from the devil, torments from the world. Everyone drowned in this torrent and no one, even with personal merits, could reach eternal life.
This is why, to remedy such great evils of yours, I have given you mine Son like a bridge, over which you can cross the river without drowning. The river is the stormy sea of this dark life. So you see what obligations the creature has towards me, and how ignorant she is for still wanting to drown and refusing the help I gave her.
WORDS OF THE HOLY FATHER
It is the certainty that consoles us: there is a place reserved for everyone.
There's a place for me too. Each of us can say: there is a place for me. We do not live aimlessly and without a destination. “We are expected, we are precious. God he is in love with us, we are his sons. And for us she has prepared the most worthy and beautiful place: Paradise.
Let us not forget: the abode that awaits us is Paradise. We are passing through here. AND Jesus he has risen and lives precisely to always be by our side. Then we can tell him: “Jesus, I believe that you have risen and that you are beside me. I think you hear me.
I bring you what troubles me, my troubles: I have faith in you and I entrust myself to you". There are ways that don't lead to Heaven: the ways of power, the ways of worldliness, the ways of self-affirmation, the ways of selfish power. And there is the way of Jesus, the way oflove humble, of prayer, of meekness, of trust, of service to others. It's not the way of my protagonism, it's the way of Jesus hero of my life.
