It was about a certain Jesus, dead, who Paul claimed was alive.
From the Acts of the Apostles Acts 25:13-21
In those days, King Agrippa and Berenice arrived in Caesarea and came to greet Festus. And since they stayed several days, Festus presented the accusations against the king Paul, dicendo:
«C’è un uomo, lasciato qui prigioniero da Felice, contro il quale, durante la mia visita a Gerusalemme, si presentarono i capi dei sacerdoti e gli anziani dei Giudei per chiederne la condanna.
Risposi loro che i Romani non usano consegnare una persona, prima che l’accusato sia messo a confronto con i suoi accusatori e possa aver modo di difendersi dall’accusa.
So they came hither and I without delay sat in court the next day and ordered that man brought there. Those who blamed him gathered around him, but they brought no accusation of those crimes that I imagined; they had with him some matters relating to their religion and to a certain Jesus, dead, who Paul claimed was alive.
Perplexed by such controversies, I asked if he wanted to go to Jerusalem and be judged there of these things. But Paul appealed to have his case reserved for the judgment of Augustus, and so I ordered him to be kept in custody until I could send him to Caesar.'

Feed my lambs, feed my sheep.
From the Gospel according to John Jn 21:15-19
At that time, when [He was manifested to the disciples and they] had eaten, Jesus said to Simon Peter, "Simon, son than John, do you love me more than these?». She answered him: "Of course, Lord, you know that I love you". He said to him, "Feed my lambs." He said to him again, for the second time: «Simone, son di Giovanni, mi ami?». Gli rispose: «Certo, Signore, tu lo sai che ti voglio bene». Gli disse: «Pascola le mie pecore».
He said to him for the third time, "Simon, son di Giovanni, mi vuoi bene?». Pietro rimase addolorato che per la terza volta gli domandasse “Mi vuoi bene?”, e gli disse: «Signore, tu conosci tutto; tu sai che ti voglio bene».
She answered him Jesus: «Feed my sheep. Truly, truly, I tell you: when you were younger you dressed yourself and went where you wanted; but when you are old you will stretch out your hands, and another will clothe you and take you where you do not want. This he said to indicate by what death he would glorify God. And having said this, he added: "Follow me."

"Simone di Giovanni, do you love me more than these?... do you love me?... do you love me?"
The successor of Peter knows that in his person and in his activity, the grace and the law oflove they support, enliven and adorn everything; and, in front of the whole world, the saint Church finds its support in the exchange of love between Jesus and he, Simon Peter son of John, as on an invisible and visible support: Jesus invisible to the eyes of the flesh and the pope, Vicar of Christ, visibile agli occhi del mondo intero.
Considered this mystery of love between Jesus and its Vicar, what honor and what sweetness for me, but at the same time, what a reason for confusion for the littleness, for the nothingness that I am. My life must be everything love to Jesus, e nello stesso tempo totale effusione di bontà e di sacrificio per ogni anima e per il mondo intero.
In this episode (…) the passage is directed to the law of sacrifice. Jesus himself announces it to Peter: «In verità, in verità ti dico: quando eri più giovane ti cingevi la veste da solo, e andavi dove volevi, ma quando sarai vecchio tenderai le tue mani, e un altro ti cingerà la veste e ti porterà dove tu non vuoi».
By the grace of Gentleman, I haven't entered this yet «old age», ma avendo compiuto ormai ottant’anni, sto sulla soglia. Devo tenermi pronto per quella ultima tappa della mia vita dove mi aspettano i limiti e i sacrifici, fino al sacrificio della vita corporale e all’apertura della vita eterna.
OR Jesus, here I am ready to reach out my hands, my hands already shaking and weak, and to let another help me get dressed and support me on the way. Lord, to Peter you added: "and he will take you where you don't want to". Or, after so many graces from which I have benefited during my long life, there is nothing more that I don't want. You opened the way for me, o Jesus; "I will follow you wherever you go" (Mt 8:19).
