At mass this evening, Don Davide gave a beautiful interpretation of the Ashes.
They are a sign of burning fire, warmth and love.
In this perspective, even the Cross, the Lent take on their true meaning.
Not sadness, but preparation for real life.

La croce è per noi il ricordo della passione, morte e risurrezione del Signore nostro JesusChrist.
A sign of pain and apparent defeat, but above all a sign of victory over evil and death, a sign oflove di Jesus per noi.
Jesus. Figlio di God, proprio morendo sulla croce ci dimostra il suo love el 'love del Father che ha tanto amato il mondo da dare il suo Figlio Unigenito.
Anche noi, come i cristiani di ogni tempo, mettiamoci in cammino dietro la Croce, per trovare in Jesus, morto e risorto per noi, vita nuova e benedizione.
