Summary

Se un miracolo Christ lo rende possibile a patto che ci sia la fede, nel Gospel di oggi il father del ragazzo non è sicuro di averne abbastanza per poter avere il miracolo che domanda.

So there is a miraculous request even before what we think is the miracle: “I'm not sure I believe! Help me believe! Help me to trust!”, says the father. And aren't we in the same condition as this man? Are we not constantly in doubt that perhaps we have more disbelief than faith?

But even so we can ask something: help us to believe!

Prayer for healthcare workers
Signore Jesus, che sei passato tra noi facendo del bene e guarendo ogni debolezza e infermità, hai comandato ai tuoi discepoli di aver cura dei malati, di imporre loro le mani e di benedirli nel Tuo nome.
Grant that health workers know how to assist our brothers and sisters with thoughtful attention and treat them with assiduous promptness. Give them science and patience, tact and compassion.
Ispira loro gesti che diano sollievo, parole che illuminano e l’love che conforta.
