L’affetto è non esige per sé come fa l’love, ma è accoglienza che riconosce in qualcuno un contenuto a cui voler bene, a cui dedicare un sentimento di tolleranza, ascolto e accoglienza.

Come Holy Spirit

Come, Holy Spirit,
send to us from heaven
a ray of your light.

You come,fatherof the poor,
Come; gift giver,
come, light of hearts.

perfect comforter,
sweet guest of the soul,
sweet relief.

In fatigue, rest,
in the heat, shelter,
in tears, comfort.

O most blessed light,
invade inside
the hearts of your faithful.

Without your strength,
nothing is in man,
nothing without fault.

Wash what is sordid,
wet what is dry,
heal what bleeds.

Bend what is rigid,
warm what is cold,
straighten out what is astray.

Donate to your faithful
who trust only in you
your holy gifts.

Give virtue and reward,
give holy death,
