Read and listen to our little prayer of April 16, 2023
Summary
Loneliness and silence
I have always loved solitude and silence. God it's right there.
Since you're gone, love my EugeneI love it even more.
You are not with me in the flesh: but I feel you flying in the air, with your smell sometimes of roses, sometimes of honey, often in the smell of your hair, long, thick, black and flowing over the basketball court as you flew to the basket.

And I think about tomorrow. Tomorrow is April 17, 2023, 912 days have passed, almost three years.
I don't get a reason.
But in fact what is reasoned in the concept of life and above all in that of death? Nothing.
If not faith. Faith is the gap between being and having; faith is the union between life and death; faith is the gift of self-giving.
And I believe in you, I believe in Jesus, The Christ, and I believe in God.
You gave yourself to Jesus, who donated to Fatherand you have all given yourselves to all of humanity.
It's crazy, unbelievable, but true: it really happened. St. Thomas touched her with hand this truth, he experienced it "live"
And just like in this photo, life is a race towards a goal. You beat everyone in the sprint!
The plagues of Jesus risen are the signs of Love that conquers hatred, of Forgiveness that disarms vengeance, of Life that defeats death. #GospelofToday (Jn 20,19-3) #Divine Mercy

The bliss of believing without having seen
commentary of Jn 20:19-31, edited byLino Dan SJ
Because sometimes the truth is not enough. Sometimes people deserve more. Sometimes people need their trust to be rewarded.
The dark Knight

I enter the text (Jn 20:19-31)
In the evening of that day, the first of the week, while the doors of the place where the disciples were for fear of the Jews were closed, a Jesusstood in the middle and said to them, "Peace be with you!" Having said that, he showed them his hands and side.
And the disciples rejoiced to see the Lord. Jesus he said to them again: «Peace be with you! As the Father sent me, I also send you." Having said this, she blew and said to them: «Receive the Holy Spirit. Those whose sins you forgive, they will be forgiven; those whom you do not forgive, they will not be forgiven." Thomas, one of the Twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when he came Jesus.
The other disciples said to him: "We have seen the Lord!" But he said to them, "Unless I see the nail marks in his hand and put my finger into the nail mark and put my hand in his side, I don't believe." Eight days later the disciples were back in the house and Thomas was with them too. He came Jesus, behind closed doors, stood in the middle and said: «Peace be with you!».
Then he said to Thomas: «Put your finger here and look at my hands; hold yours hand and put it in my side; and do not be incredulous, but a believer!”. Thomas answered him: «My Lord and mine God!». Jesus he said to him: “Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and have believed!». Jesus, in the presence of his disciples, he did many other signs which are not written in this book.
But these were written for you to believe that Jesus and the Christ, The Son of God, and because, by believing, you have your life in his name.
I get inspired
Touch with hand to be able to taste the gift of the presence of the Risen One. How can we all not identify a bit with the good Thomas, an absent disciple at the first appearance of the Risen One at the eleven according to the evangelist John? He is absent, as are we; he doubtful, as well as us; he asking for proof, as well as us…
And here it is eight days later Jesus he presents himself again, always with that stupendous greeting of peace – indeed, peace, the true and proper gift of the Spirit of the Risen One! – And now he addresses directly to the one who was previously absent. And he invites him to have the experience of touching with hand precisely the signs of the Risen One that indicate his passage into suffering and passion lived in the flesh.
How could we too not be amazed, almost embarrassed and a little fearful of what, like Thomas, we have doubted? Because doubts inhabit us and challenge us every day to truly believe that the story of a Risen One is a story that today tells us about our true possible life, that is, the life of resurrected ones. And so for us too, as for Thomas, there is an invitation to believe, to trust, to allow ourselves to be enveloped by that reality which is life and renewed faith. But for us there is even more the bliss of believing without having seen: splendid destiny!
