Read and listen to the fairy tale "A panda on the toilet"
Summary
Let's read together
That evening: an evening like many others. Lorenzo, despite having turned 4 a few months ago, had only recently gotten used to sleeping in his little room. It hadn't been easy for his parents to convince him, but in the end they had succeeded.
It hadn't been easy but, for some days now, Lorenzo had been sleeping alone. Every now and then he got up, tiptoed into his parents' room, approached his mother's ear and whispered phrases like: “I'm going to pee” or “I wanted to see if you were sleeping! I love you".

The following day the parents decided not to mention anything about what happened with Lorenzo! Maybe he was still half asleep, or he was inventing one of his fantastic characters about him, then leaving the task to the father to invent a story around it.
Lorenzo, however, had seen well that night. The panda existed and was sitting on the toilet. So how come mum and dad hadn't seen it?
The following night, making his parents believe that he had fallen asleep, always on tiptoe, he got off his cot, crossed the door of his room painted all orange and headed for the bathroom. He turned on the light, taking care not to make the slightest noise… and there it was: the panda on the toilet.
He was silent for a few minutes staring into his eyes (the panda likewise) then, in a low voice, he asked: "Why are you on my toilet?".
The panda began his story: "I'm here because I don't know where to go... I've always lived in another country very very different from this one and here, I don't know how things work, I don't know anyone!".
The panda didn't even let him finish speaking: with a wide gesture of the head he immediately nodded yes, he liked the proposal. So it was.
Every evening, after having made his parents believe that he had fallen asleep in his cot, Lorenzo would go to the bathroom and every evening, ready to wait for him on the toilet, here was the panda: eager to know everything, really everything about that world until recently completely unknown.
One evening he showed him how to play with the wind. Then once she made him taste how good fruit is, but above all how fresh the juice that comes out of the fruit is.
One evening, Lorenzo explained to the panda that sometimes one can be happy, other times sad and other times still angry, but then a cuddle from the mum and everything passes.
In short, every evening Lorenzo taught his friend the panda with such a funny face something new: all white with a small black spot on the right eye. The months passed.
Over time, Lorenzo had begun to go to bed without making a fuss, indeed, the desire to meet the panda was so strong that in recent times it was him who told his parents that he wanted to go to bed.
One evening, after made believe a mum and dad having fallen asleep, as always got up from his cot, walked barefoot towards the bathroom, opened the door and… the panda wasn't on the toilet.
Amazed Lorenzo approached the vase, "Maybe it fell inside" he thought. But on the vase instead of the panda he found a note with only one word written: Thanks!
Lorenzo, sad at not having seen his panda friend again, went back to bed and, thinking and thinking, fell asleep.
“Lory, love… wake up Lory” ah, the voice of mum: sweet, loving, reassuring like every morning.
“Lori, wake up! I present to you your little brother Tommaso!” she continued there mum. Lorenzo opened his eyes suddenly: "The little brother?? But then he was born !!! he was born !! " he thought immediately.
He straightened up on the bed looking better at the bundle than at her mum he held in his arms, then, perceiving himself a little better, he looked him straight in the face... Lorenzo smiled as wide as the world and kissed Tommaso's cheek.
Just above his right eye, Tommaso had a small black spot.
